Down here on business and was told about a 9 hole Pete Dye course down the street that wasn't too bad. So for $10 / walking, 3,155yds(Sky Caddie yardage), Par 36/114, I took it on shooting 40/18putts under 2hrs. Greens were in great shape (Soft & true), fairways not too bad and 50% of the back tee boxes were kinda rough. Starts out with two (2) easy par 4's for warm-ups and then things get interesting. Slight doglegs with good carries to the corners with hardwood tree lined fairways add some excitement to holes #3-#7. The #6 par 4 @ 455yds being the #1 hcp, makes the 2nd shot a very tight landing spot around the green. This made me look a little different at passing up on the 9 hole tracks for short afternoon tune-ups with a nice brisk walk. Worth stopping and playing, if not busy with Seniors that mostly play in the AM, so I was told.
